What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is the use of natural solutions such as whole-foods, high grade herbal extracts, quality well formulated vitamins and minerals, and body work to support and restore wellbeing to the person.
A naturopath works not only with symptoms expressed through the body and mind but targets the underlying cause.
Whether it is a sport person who needs to increase performance or someone with a chronic illness, a naturopath has the skills to guide them to better health in the individual. Much of the time this is achieved via diet, exercise, herbal medicines and self management.

The modern naturopath uses many of the diagnostic tools that are available to other medical practitioners, ie blood and hormone tests. But also we have a variety of alternative methods such as iridology, hair mineral analysis and allergy testing that are available to broaden the overview of the assessment.
Naturopathy has been used as an alternative to conventional medicine, but also, very useful as a complement to allopathic treatment.
Naturopathic treatment can be used for gut problems, hormonal imbalances for men and women, weight loss, diabetes (types I and II), detoxification, energy lows, cancer support and other chronic illnesses.

About Coryn

Coryn is a qualified Naturopath, Herbalist and massage therapist.
After qualifying from college 8 years ago, she has worked as a naturopath in her own clinic, run workshops on food education, tailored workshops for parents of special needs children and run massage programmes for children with special needs.

After having time out from work to be a mum, Coryn can now draw on new experiences, which she finds enriches her clients and her passion for whole food; something that she enjoys sharing with others in a fun and a relaxing environment.

Solutions- You take away with you recommendations tailored to your personal health needs. This may include:

- Supplements
- Life style suggestions
- Herbal formulas

This is a continuing process where we can:
- Continue with your health plan
- Re-evaluate your goals
- Support
- Look at anything new that is going on for you.
